You may use Aristotal's platform and services for your personal and professional development as a teacher. By using the platform, you agree to:

• Use Aristotal only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Not share your login credentials with others or allow unauthorised individuals to use your account.
• Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep this information up-to-date.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Aristotal. By using the platform, you confirm that you are legally eligible to enter into these Terms.

Aristotal may offer both free and paid subscriptions for using the platform. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Subscription Fees: Subscriptions are charged on a recurring basis according to the selected plan (monthly, annually, etc.). Fees are non-refundable unless specified otherwise by law or in our Refund Policy.
• Renewals: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel at least 30 days before the renewal date.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time by notifying us at admin@aristotal.ai. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

Aristotal provides AI-powered feedback and coaching to help improve teaching methods. Please note:

• AI Limitations: Aristotal's AI provides suggestions and feedback based on uploaded classroom transcripts. However, these are recommendations only, and do not guarantee specific teaching outcomes or improvements.
• User Responsibility: You are encouraged to critically assess the AI-generated feedback and apply it at your discretion. Aristotal's AI does not replace professional development advice from human experts.

By using Aristotal, you agree not to:

• Engage in any unlawful activities or use the platform for any purpose that violates local, national, or international law.
• Upload or share any content that is harmful, offensive, inappropriate, or infringes on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
• Use the platform in a way that could disrupt the services, harm other users, or damage Aristotal's reputation.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise manipulate Aristotal's software or any technological measures protecting the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you violate these rules.

Aristotal takes data privacy seriously. Any personal data you provide or upload will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

• User Data: By using Aristotal, you grant us permission to process your data for the purpose of providing personalised teacher coaching and feedback. We employ appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest.
• Data Retention: Recordings and transcripts are retained during your active subscription so you can review your progress over time. After a subscription ends, data may be retained for up to 24 months to support platform improvement — for example, refining coaching quality and accuracy. This is carried out by Aristotal as an independent Controller under legitimate interests. You have the right to object to this retention at any time by contacting support@aristotal.ai, and your data will be deleted promptly on request.
• AI Training: Aristotal does not use lesson recordings, transcripts, or coaching conversations to train OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any other publicly available foundation model. Data is never sold.
• Teacher Coaching Content: Your recordings, transcripts, coaching conversations, reflections, and goals are visible only to you by default. School leaders and administrators cannot access your coaching content unless you explicitly choose to share it.

All intellectual property rights related to the Aristotal platform, including software, content, and designs, belong to AI Coaching Ltd. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our prior written consent.
• Use any content or trademarks from Aristotal in any way that infringes on our intellectual property rights.

Aristotal reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in any conduct that we believe may harm our platform or other users.

If your account is terminated, you will no longer have access to Aristotal, and your data may be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

Aristotal is provided "as is," and we make no guarantees about the accuracy or effectiveness of the feedback provided through our platform. We are not responsible for:

• Any errors or omissions in the content.
• Any loss of data or damage to your device from using the platform.
• Any outcomes or results from applying AI-generated feedback in your teaching practice.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid for the service, or £100 if no fees have been paid.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Aristotal will be governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any disputes.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. If any changes significantly affect your rights, we will notify you in advance. Continued use of Aristotal after such modifications will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
